STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
The YMCA is a tobacco-free campus.
This includes: vaping, e- cigarettes,
and smokeless tobacco.
Please report vandalism or repairs
needed so we may maintain the
facility in the best possible condition.
Members must present their
membership cards each time they
use the Y.
Please follow posted traffic signs,
speed limits and designated fire
lanes.
Any member lending his/her
membership card to another person
will lose all membership privileges.
No refund will be given.
The use of any device capable of
photographic images is strictly
prohibited in YMCA locker rooms,
restrooms and changing areas.
Children age 5 and under may use
either the boys?or girls?youth locker
room if accompanied by a parent or
guardian of the designated locker
room gender. Adults must be
accompanied by a child in the youth
locker rooms. Children under 18 are
not permitted in the adult locker
rooms.
Any use of photo capable devices in
program areas must have approval
of instructor.
For your child?s safety, when
attending an adult program, you
must use Child Watch unless your
child is enrolled in another program
at the same time. Children may not
be left unattended in the lobby areas
or other parts of the facility at any
time. Please note that a 2 hour daily
time limit is observed in Child Watch.
The YMCA prohibits staff from
babysitting members and guests
whom they meet here at the YMCA.
- Theft
The YMCA may use and take
photographs as needed to be used in
marketing and promotional
materials. Anyone entering the
building or grounds may be a part of
those photos.
- Being under the influence of, possession of,
or use or distribution of drugs or alcohol on
YMCA property or at YMCA sponsored
events or programs
To ensure the safety of our members
and guests, the YMCA uses video
surveillance and recording
throughout the building except in
locker rooms.
The YMCA is not responsible for lost
or stolen items. Please don?t leave
valuables in lockers.
Standards of Conduct
The foundation of the YMCA is the mission to
build strong kids, strong families and strong
communities. The YMCA creates an
atmosphere of a caring community and a place
in which everyone is made to feel special and
cared about. The standards of conduct have
been put into place to ensure that everyone at
the YMCA feels this way.
Members, program participants or guests who
violate one of the standards listed below may
have their membership privileges suspended
or terminated.
- Fighting
- Vandalism or malicious destruction of YMCA
or member property
- Lending membership card to a person to
gain access
- Use of profanity in the YMCA facility
- Disruptive behavior
- Verbal, threatening or physically or
emotionally abusive behavior to others, or
disrespectful behavior to members, guests
or staff
Please keep all food and beverages
in main lobby area.
Prices, fees, facility schedule, hours
of operation, classes, and instructors
are subject to change. Changes may
occur during a session. Notices will
be posted when changes are made.
- Proper workout and/or swim attire must be
worn at all times. All apparel (lack of
apparel) should be appropriate for a family
environment. Please refer to the dress code.
FACILITY AGE GUIDELINES
Child Watch
- Ages 3 months to 9 years
- Climbing Structure: ages 3 - 9
Basketball Gym
- Children 10 years of age and older can use
independently
- Children 9 year of age and younger: Adult
supervision needed at all times
Indoor Walking Track
- Children 10 years of age and older can use
independently
- Children 9 year of age and younger: Adult
supervision needed at all times
Fitness Center Usage and
Supervision
- Ages 9 and under are prohibited from the
fitness center at all times
- Ages 10 to 13: Parent or Legal guardian must
be directly supervising at all times. Both
parent/legal guardian and child must attend
Youth Orientation prior to Fitness Center use.
Children 10-13 are only permitted on the
cardio equipment.
- Ages 14 and older: May use the facility
independently. Ages 14+ are permitted to use
the cardio and strength equipment.
Aquatics Center
- Children 10 years of age and older can use
independently, if they can pass the swim test.
- Children 9 year of age and younger: Adult
supervision needed at all times.
Group Exercise Classes
- Ages 16-17: May attend any group exercise
class. Must fit properly on group cycle bikes.
- Ages 10-15: May only participate in youth or
family group exercise classes
