Ages 16 and older are welcome to join our group classes. In an effort better serve our members the YMCA offers a year-round fitness
program for members only. No reservations are required. Please refer to our group exercise schedule on our website. Classes /Instructors
are subject to change. All notifications of any class changes are available through our Group Me App.

Pilates

Focuses on breathing and alignment, low and precise
movements are designed to develop long and lean
muscles which increases flexibility, improves posture,
and provides great mobility.
A dance workout that combines cardio, muscle
conditioning, balance and flexibility training.
Pilates Focus
Designed as a physical, mental, and spiritual practice
or discipline that aims to transform the body and
mind througha series of controlled movements and
breathing techniques.
Designed for the older adults focusing on
cardiovascular exercise, strength training, balance
and flexibility. Moderate level of well-balanced
exercise routine for heart health, cardiovascular,
muscular endurance, strength, flexibility and
balance.

Pilates is designed to promote core fitness, flexibility,
posture and body awareness using resistance bands
and light hand weights.
This class is designed for older adults, featuring
exercises that can be performed while seated or using
a chair for support and balance.

This training method combines high-intensity cardio
movements mixed with dynamic strength and
sculpting exercises.
Senior Aerobics
SOUTH
Strength and Balance: A combination of light aerobics
set to music, upper body light weight strength
training, and various balance exercises followed by
stretching.
Senior Mat Pilates
SOUTH
Pilates covers the art and science of human
movement as it relates to the Joseph Pilates method.
It offers a system for the fit and non-fit who want to
function at an optimal level without pain. The
diaphragmatic breath prompts the movement whereby
engaging and strengthening the core as well as
engaging other muscles for a total body workout. It is
a holistic approach to the mind and body relationship
which lies at the heart of Pilates.

Have fun while improving strength and mobility with
seated and supported exercises using weights, bands,
and exercise balls. Suitable for all levels!

endurance, strength intervals, high intensity race
training, hills, and recovery
TABATA

Breaks a workout down into intervals 20 seconds of
pushing it to your limit followed by 10 seconds of rest.
Repeating for a series of 8.
Tone NORTH
Les Mills Tone is a functional fitness workout designed
to promote longevity and athleticism. It combines
cardio, strength, and core into a great whole body
workout that accommodates all fitness levels.
Toning

This class will work your arms, legs and core strength
along with your balance.
Yoga

Includes breathing exercises, poses and meditation.
This class helps improve balance, flexibility, strength,
and well- being.
Yoga & Meditation NORTH

Cultivates Body-Mind connection and integration. It
asks you to slow down between thoughts and before
actions, which allows you to look into your inner
landscape to find space, freedom, and peace. It also
helps you release stress and build up your resilience
physically, mentally, and emotionally. The class either
begins or ends with a 15-20 minute guided
meditation, transitions smoothly into a 1-hour yoga
asana (posture) practice, and ends with some sweet
relaxation.

A highly popular Latin-inspired dance workout
delivers a dynamic and exciting fitness experience in a
party-like atmosphere. All fitness levels welcome!
Zumba Toning

Drawing upon the classic dance cardio party with
Latin rhythms, this workout uses light weight toning
sticks or dumbbells incorporating low and high impact
options to sculpt your body naturally.
