At the Y, our Health & Wellness programs are designed to help individuals of all ages and abilities build strength, improve
well-being, and create healthy habits that last a lifetime. Whether the goal is to stay active, gain confidence, improve mobility,
or support overall wellness, our programs provide encouraging, community- centered opportunities to grow stronger in spirit,
mind, and body.
YOUTH FIT & STRONG

Move faster, get stronger, and build endurance with the Y! Kids will learn fun,
youth-focused exercises designed to keep them active while building healthy habits that
last a lifetime.

PARKINSON?S PWR PROGRAM
NORTH
This exercise class meets twice a week and is taught by certified PWR instructors!
(Parkinson?s Wellness Recovery) They are introducing functional moves. The benefits of this
class include increased flexibility, improved balance, coordination and endurance, improved
working memory, better quality of sleep.

LIVESTRONGAT THE YMCA
NORTH
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a free 12-week program for adult cancer
survivors. Trained YMCA Personal Trainers work with each participant as
they transition from treatment to regaining their physical and emotional
strength. Trainers develop individual programs in a Small Group setting to
help participants:

Build muscle mass and strength
Increase flexibility and endurance
Improve day-to-day life
Prevent unwanted weight changes
Improve energy levels and self esteem
Develop a community of fellow survivors, YMCA staff and members
