WELCOME TO THE HANOVER AREA YMCA
OUR MISSION: To put Christian principles into practice through programs
that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
At the Hanover Area YMCA, strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social
responsibility are our cause and vision. As a movement, the Y is the largest childcare provider in the nation.
We provide a wide range of fitness classes and sports activities. In many places, the Y is known as a place to go
swimming or exercise, but it is much more than that- it?s a place that changes lives. Our open doors philosophy
welcomes all those who wish to enter and we provide need based financial assistance to community members in the
great Hanover area.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
PLANNED GIVING
BECOME AN IMPACT MEMBER
The Annual Campaign provides an
extraordinary opportunity to ensure a
brighter future for our community. Your
gift to the Hanover Area YMCA will have
lasting impact in the community by helping
us to reach more people through lifechanging programs and services like:
Members who make planned donations are
a very special group of people who have
chosen to have a lasting impact on the
Hanover Area YMCA by generously making
or planning future gifts to our Y. Our
members believe in the tradition and
mission of the YMCA and want to ensure
that this heritage is continued for future
generations.
Y Impact Members contribute a monthly,
recurring tax- deductible donation of
$25. That $25 a month helps assure the
continuation of vitally important Y work,
including chronic disease prevention,
mentoring youth, and financial assistance
for hundreds of low-income families
who need us to keep their kids positively
engaged in supportive and safe Y
programs.

The Annual Campaign is volunteer led and
staff supported. Ask any staff member how
you can get involved.
Our obligation is to use donated funds
toward physical, mental and emotional
enrichment and development of youth,
adults and families as we identify needs and
opportunities in our community.
The Hanover Area YMCA accepts the
following gifts:
- Outright Gifts of Cash, stock or other
securities.
- Tribute Gifts in honor of or in memory of a
loved one.
- Charitable Will Bequests
- Beneficiary Designation Gifts including
retirement accounts and life insurance
- Charitable Gift Annuities
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Charitable Lead Trusts
